Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Artículos Científicos Originales

Investigaciones originales e inéditas que ofrezcan nuevas perspectivas o enfoques en temas de ciencias sociales. Los artículos deben basarse en investigaciones científicas rigurosas, utilizando metodologías cualitativas, cuantitativas o mixtas. Se incluirían temas como la sociología, el derecho, la economía, las tecnologías de la información, el género, entre otros.

Revisiones Sistemáticas y Metaanálisis

Artículos que presenten revisiones sistemáticas de la literatura y metaanálisis, que son fundamentales para sintetizar el conocimiento existente sobre un tema específico. Los artículos en esta sección deben seguir las pautas metodológicas rigurosas para garantizar la calidad y transparencia en el proceso de selección, análisis y síntesis de la evidencia disponible.

Política Editorial sobre Inteligencia Artificial

 

Objetivo:
Establecer directrices claras para el uso responsable de herramientas de inteligencia artificial por parte de autores, revisores y miembros del equipo editorial de la revista interdisciplinaria Ciencias Sociales.

1. Autores

  • El uso de herramientas de IA generativa (como ChatGPT, Bard, etc.) debe ser declarado en la sección de agradecimientos o en una nota al pie al final del manuscrito.

  • Está prohibido atribuir autoría a herramientas de IA.

  • Los autores son responsables de verificar y validar cualquier contenido generado por IA.

  • Se permite el uso de IA para asistencia en redacción, gramática o traducción, pero nunca para crear resultados científicos falsos o manipular datos.

2. Revisores

  • Los revisores deben abstenerse de ingresar manuscritos completos o secciones sustanciales en herramientas de IA que puedan almacenar o reutilizar datos sin consentimiento.

  • Se permite el uso de IA para mejorar la redacción de observaciones y sugerencias, siempre bajo revisión y aprobación personal del revisor.

  • El uso de IA por parte del revisor debe ser declarado al editor.

3. Equipo editorial

  • El comité editorial puede usar herramientas de IA para detección de plagio, sugerencia de revisores, corrección de estilo y apoyo en revisión técnica, siempre bajo supervisión humana.

  • Se fomentará la transparencia y capacitación en el uso responsable de estas tecnologías.

  • Las decisiones editoriales deben estar siempre sustentadas por revisión humana, nunca exclusivamente por IA.
